Koi Pond Recirculation Radar Tank Level Measurement

When an Oklahoma golf club needed reliable level measurement of their Koi pond water recirculation tank, they turned to Flowline. Water recirculation, oxygenation and filtration are required to maintain a thriving pond. A variable speed pump steadily pulls water from the pond, pushes it through a sand filter, and transfers it to an elevated tank, where it gravity feeds back to the pond. The system is tank level driven. From which, a PLC modulates pump speed and actuates a valve to replace evaporated water loss. The integrator said, “These fish are worth about $15k. My client needs bullet proof measurement in all weather conditions, and they want to indicate tank level gallons inside the maintenance shed.” For this reason, Flowline suggested our LR80 radar sensor and LI55 level indicator. The radar sensor provides reliable level data to level indicator which repeats the signal to the PLC. Flowline is reliable level measurement.
