Jacksonville Zoo Pool Exhibit Ultrasonic Level Transmitter

When the Jacksonville Zoo needed reliable level measurement of their exhibit water features, they turned to Flowline. Water is an integral part of the zoo experience, and its continuously measured, monitored and controlled for the health and safety of their animals and guests. The controls engineer needed to update the level measurement in their exhibits, and was concerned with splashing, rain, wind and concealability. He also wanted a single level sensor that could be applied universally with an onboard display for easy verification. For these reasons, Flowline suggested our UG06 ultrasonic sensor installed in a standpipe, which separates it from the environment and animals for reliable level measurement that’s easy to conceal. The ultrasonic sensors provide reliable level data to the SCADA system that monitors and controls the exhibit water features. Flowline is reliable level measurement.
