When America’s Convention Center in St. Louis needed reliable level measurement of their pump lift stations, they turned to Flowline. The center’s restrooms, kitchens and showers gravity feed to four large sumps in the basement. An integrator was hired to refurbish the stations, update their measurement and control hardware, and link the data to their building management system. The contractor said, “Prior to cleaning, these stations had lots of grease, feces and paper particulates that reaped havoc on the submersible pressure and float level sensors. My client had overflows and they need reliability. What do you have that just works in this application?” For these reasons, Flowline suggested our LR80 radar sensor that’s non-contact, unaffected by media characteristics, easy to install, and maintenance-free. The radar sensors provide reliable level data to the DCS which controls the lift stations. Flowline is reliable level measurement. |
