Stormwater Pump Lift Station Radar Level Measurement

When a Southeast municipality needed reliable level measurement of their problematic stormwater pump lift station, they turned to Flowline. A county road passes under a highway and forms a natural collection basin for stormwater run-off. There a lift station stands ready to receive and pump transfer the run-off to a nearby canal. But this station is exposed to much more than just water, including turbulence, debris, vegetation, trash, and grease laden foam, which have contributed to repeated failures of float, pressure, and ultrasonic level sensors. The IC&E manager said, “No more road closures or sunken cars. I need a level sensor that just works.
