Chemical Neutralization Tank Radar Level Measurement

When a Central California chemical manufacturer needed reliable level measurement of their waste neutralization tank, they turned to Flowline. The firm produces cleaning and sanitization chemicals for process water, cooling water and wastewater treatment applications. From which, they collect, treat and recycle their own wastewater. The I&C manager explained that their neutralization tanks periodically foam, and when they do, their past ultrasonic level sensors would become intermittent, causing alarms and shutdowns. He said, “I need a reliable, non-contact and corrosion resistant level sensor that’s not impacted by foam or vapor.” For these reasons, Flowline suggested our LR80 radar sensor that’s unaffected by such media variables and constructed entirely of PVDF. The radar sensors provide reliable level data to the PLC, which monitors the neutralization tanks and controls the treatment process. Flowline is reliable level measurement.
