Wrigley Sewer Pump Station Radar Level Measurement

Sewer Pump Station Liquid Level Sensor

Sewer Pump Station Liquid Level Transmitter

When Wrigley Field needed reliable level measurement of their sewer lift stations, they turned to Flowline. During a game, toilets, sinks and drains flush into nearby sewer vaults. The inflow rates are significant and pumps can work non-stop to transfer the waste forward. The waste is agitated with feces, foam, paper, grease and particulates. The stadium was dissatisfied with ultrasonic level sensors in this application and they wanted reliable non-contact level measurement. They also expressed concern over the narrow vault opening and sensor mounting location that affords little measurement space. For these reasons, Flowline suggested our LR10 radar sensor that’s unaffected by dynamic waste streams or limited space. The radar sensors provide reliable level data to the SCADA, which monitors the vaults and controls the pumps. Flowline is reliable level measurement.
