Stormwater Pump Lift Station Radar Level Measurement

When an Oklahoma water department needed reliable level measurement of their stormwater lift stations, they turned to Flowline. Operators were dissatisfied with the reliability of ultrasonic level sensors and the longevity of pressure level sensors in this application. Ultrasonic sensors were susceptible to attenuating foam or condensation, and pressure sensors required periodic cleaning or became damaged from turbulence. They needed reliable, maintenance free level measurement. For this reason, Flowline suggested our LR30 radar sensor that’s unaffected by foam, vapor or turbulence. The radar sensors provide reliable level data to the SCADA which monitors the stations and controls the pumps. Flowline is reliable level measurement.
