When a Midwest municipality needed reliable level measurement of a problematic stormwater pump station, they turned to Flowline. Located at the base of a hillside elementary school, the station collects and transfers the stormwater run-off from the campus above. But during heavy rains, more than water enters the sump including dirt, silt and plant debris. Over time, this clogged the previous pressure level sensor, causing station failure and overflows. Their integrator contacted Flowline in need of reliable measurement, and wanted to add a level display with a manual override to the panel. For these reasons, Flowline suggested our LR80 radar sensor that’s non-contact, unaffected by the sump media and highly reliable. The sensor was packaged with our LI55 indicator that powers the sensor, displays the level and repeats the signal to the station’s pump controller. The radar sensor provides reliable level data to the indicator and controller. Flowline is reliable level measurement. |
