When a Pennsylvania treatment plant needed reliable level measurement of their water intake assets, they turned to Flowline. Water enters the plant through a canal that’s fed by two feed reservoirs. They measure the level in all three structures and use this data to manage the flow rates between them. There the technician was dissatisfied with prior ultrasonic level sensors that became erratic during big rain or snow events, and they needed reliable level measurement. For this reason, Flowline suggested our LR30 radar sensor that’s unaffected by environmental factors such as rain, wind or snow. The radar sensors provide reliable level data to the SCADA, which monitors the assets and controls the intake flows. Flowline is reliable level measurement. |
