When a New York building materials manufacturer needed reliable level measurement of their plastic pellet storage silos, they turned to Flowline. The operator said that previous yo-yo-type mechanical level sensors clogged, resulting in pellet shortages and production downtime. They wanted reliable intrinsically safe level measurement with level indication converted from height to pounds and high or low level alarms.
