Resin Plastic Pellet Silo Radar Level Measurement

When an East Coast plastics manufacturer needed reliable level measurement of their resin pellet silos, they turned to Flowline. The company produces plastic components for pharmaceutical packaging and medical machine applications. Recent supply chain issues exposed their need for improved pellet inventory, purchasing and production data. The operator required six plastic pellet level sensors capable of measuring up to 65′ for input to large displays at their rail loading dock. The location is considered a hazardous area. For this reason, Flowline suggested our intrinsically safe LR41 radar sensor with rotational mounting flanges for easy silo installation. The radar sensors provide reliable level data to the indicator, which displays the silo levels and alarms for pellet replenishment. Flowline is reliable level measurement.
