When a Vermont paper company needed reliable level measurement of the waste sumps surrounding their paper machines, they turned to Flowline. Liquids are an integral part of their process and foamy water, chemicals and particulates collect in these sumps next to each machine. There the I&C technician had tried various level sensor types, but each failed due to material buildup, foam or corrosion, and they needed reliable level measurement. For this reason, Flowline suggested our LG10 guided wave sensor that’s unaffected by coating, foaming or mildly corrosive media. The guided wave sensors provides reliable level data to the PLC, which monitors the sumps and actuates the transfer pumps. Flowline is reliable level measurement. |
