| Currently, recreational boats use rocker arm floats to measure the amount of diesel fuel available onboard. Not only do these floats corrode over time, requiring replacement, they don't provide real time level measurement data. Here, an EchoPod DL14 is measuring the diesel fuel onboard a mid-sized motor yacht. EchoPod is providing a continuous 4-20 mA signal to a display, showing the consumable gallons onboard. The operator monitors the vessel's fuel economy and range with real-time level data. Additionally, EchoPod's built in relays and control capabilties are providing high and low level audible alarms, as well as fuel transfer ballasting.
